Held sends

Sends whose outcome the dispatcher could not confirm wait here instead of being retried. Check the sending mailbox yourself, then record whether the message went out. Opening this page sends nothing, retries nothing, and contacts no email provider.

What each resolution does

Confirmed sent closes the attempt as sent. It is never retried.
Confirmed not sent releases the send for retry. A campaign send may then be picked up again by the send cron; a manual follow-up or test send is only ever resent by a person doing it deliberately.
Anything you cannot settle stays held. An empty mailbox search is not evidence that nothing was delivered, and there is no way to release these in bulk.
